black out on gmod

have you ever gotten this on gmod, everything turns to shadow, really, a flash light will show what your looking at but it is weird, anyone have anthing like that.

Try changing you'r screen resolution
or taking it off full screen if you have it on
or taking it off full screen if you have it on
