my steam wont open it trys to update then come up steam already open and closes what can i do?

also thanks riptide for banning spammer

EDIT: Its ok ive fixed it now i found out that a lot of people have had a problem opening steam with this new update if you have steam and have this problem post here and i will post the soulution.

I aint having a problem, but i think it's also where people are pre-loading games, or a new one is released.

well, the other day i bought half life episode two, and i wasnt allowed to download it, i have it now, but it just said the steam servers are too busy to handle my request, which usually means they think it doesnt belong to me. i had to wait 24 hours to try again..
